I don't know about everyone else, but it really bugs me how some kids are spoon-fed everything in life and they take to social media showing it off like they did all the work towards something like a car. Some of these kids don't even have jobs or have even done volunteer work. If I were a parent I would want my son/daughter to work for the things they want, not expect me to buy their way through life.

My friend brags about his 2013 corvette, even though his dad bought it for him. It annoys me

Exactly, it feels a lot better knowing that your hardwork paid off.

I know exactly. Some of my friends brag about their cars and make fun at how I don't have one.
I only got my license a few months ago and 100% of the money to the car I'm buying is my own money from my own job. I have to pay insurance, gas, registration, plates, plus the car.
Here's hoping it'll be worth it once I drive that baby home and realize it's completely mine.

It's funny that everyone's mentioning cars here because it's the exact same for me.
Personally, I hate taking money from my family... but then you get some people who actually find their parents wallets and take money out, which is disgusting.
My friend got a 2014 Ford Fiesta, which was around 15k this year. He recently get a BenQ monitor and a whole new gaming set up... guess what... he doesn't have a job.
I try to "out" people about showing off though, they have no right to show off.

Oh my god tell me about it. My friend had his parents bought him a completely restored Camaro and he is constantly showing it off on instagram and other social media sites bragging about it claiming how they have sooooo much money and such. People just can't appreciate things or even just work hard for them.-.- Meanwhile me and my father are restoring a 92' Mustang that we can say that we restored it take pride in it and show we actually worked for it. Good thing I am not being babyfed in life because the people that are will regret it once that money goes away or mommy and daddy leaves.

It's annoying, but I would lust block such annoying photos. Anyways, this reminds of the time when one of my brother's friends would snap pics of his wads of cash. Annoying indeed.
