If you are eon 7.1 down you should use evasi0n. if you already updated to 7.1 up you can use Pangu.

It depends on your firmware version. Any iOS 7 firmware up to 7.1 is supported by evasi0n which is just a simple, one click jailbreak. If you're already on 7.1 or above, you should use the Pangu tool.

iOS 6 requires different tools such as p0sixpwn or evasi0n for iOS 6.

Since it's your first time, I would find a tutorial on YouTube no matter what tool you use so you can make it easier for yourself.
