Yup I totally agree, they are nothing more than fat little bastards that think they are cool hitting people offline. When in actual fact they are lifeless geeks who get mad at people for beating them or verbally owning them and it's their only source of retaliation.

Lol getting hit offline is nothing really just reset your modem/router for 10 mins then you should be back online

I don't ever recall being DDoS attacked, but then again it's possible I was. If a DDOS attack ever happens, it's actually illegal so you can actually report said people to the authorities if you know any personal info of theirs.

Static IPs don't change, even if you hard reset your modem. You're thinking of a dynamic IP, and there's a good chance you have one. All major ISPs use DHCP as their primary network protocol. If your ISP uses DHCP, you will have a dynamic IP.

That wouldn't work because

1. I know for a fact that the police wont do nothing, it's too small of a crime to deal with. I also heard that it's not even considered a crime providing they don't cause any $ worth of damage, meaning they can do it to gamers but not businesses etc.

2. I'm not 100% sure but I am fairly certain your ISP is not allowed to disclose such information anyway.

If it's a DDoS, it's going through the ISP, which is interfering with their business (since you're a customer being hit offline). It's possible to get a case files and for them to get a warning to the 13 yr old's parents lol
