if any of you are aware of the application pangu which is being used to install jailbreaks on the latest versions of iOS.

i am trying to update my iPhone 5 running 7.1.2 and the whole process seems to run smoothly but once the jailbreak has finished no cydia icon appears, any solutions?

i have already turned off restrictions etc...

please help!

Try re jailbreaking your device to see it that works you may need to update the software.

no the things i did before jailbreaking were:

update to iOS 7.1.2 itself and then back up my device. then i proceeded to begin the jailbreak.

I'm pretty sure that's the problem. Jailbreaking without a fresh device can cause erros like this. Try restoring your device as new and then jailbreaking.
