take out the HDD and look and check if the green light inside is blinking when you power it on (debug light)

Well, it didn't come with a harddrive. I'm using a USB until I can afford a Hdd

ok so take out the usb and power on the console... When the xbox is booting look to the left side and check if a greenlight is blinking like every 5 sec

Check to see if the console will boot into Xell. (By pressing the eject button to power the console on). If it doesn't boot into Xell, then chances are you bought a bricked console and will have to send it away for repairs.

After you hit the eject button, it should pop up quite fast, almost instantly.
