I was thinking bout getting an Alienware PC but I don't know if they are worth the money
What do people think about them?

The general consensus is they are not worth the money.
I've never had one personally, but they are expensive.
You're better off building and modifying your own rig rather than buying one imo.

Brands that are really worth it.


Asus, Dell & alien ware. alien ware is somewhat overpriced.

I can go ahead and tell you alot of people will go ahead and tell you they are not worth it and basically rant about alienware. Personally Ive never used one so I couldnt say, But from what ive seen they are pretty overpriced.

I wouldn't consider buying any pre-built computer from a company anyhow. You can get far better value from building the parts seperately. Alienware overcharge a lot. $3000 for an I7 and a Titan? Could get it in half the price and/or more.

Personally, I feel that you could build a much better PC for less than buying an Alienware PC would cost you.

I do have an Alienware M14x. I am a bit let down with the performance with it for the price. Almost all their laptops (including mine) has gotten a loose hinge for the screen, so it wobbles a bit at times. For the amount of money you pay, you get somewhat decent parts. You could easily build a better one with the same money, which is what I want to do now.

All in all, I give Alienware a 7.5/10
