The 400,000 or so people of Toledo, Ohio's fourth-largest city, and its surrounding
areas are being told not to drink the stuff coming out of their faucets after two tests
showed that it contains toxins. (According to the Toledo Blade, the toxin in question is
microcystin, which may have come from algae in nearby Lake Eerie.) Mayor Michael
Collins says that the National Guard is trucking in clean liquid from other Ohio
towns but, for now, the Health Department is "strongly recommending" that restaurants
(and other businesses where customers might ingest water) close. The city also says that its
citizens shouldn't use their tap water for "making infant formula, making ice, brushing teeth,
preparing food" and feeding their pets. (Showers are allowed.) Meanwhile, grocery stores
are already selling out of bottled water, so it's shaping up to be a pretty uncomfortable
weekend in northwest Ohio.

Oakland wrote SO does this mean everyone is forced to purchase Drinking water from the local grocery store?Yes and national guard is filling "bladdar bags" (giant clear plastic bags) of water and distributing them at certain locations, FEMA is on standby, and people are fighting over water at grocery stores, people are driving in from out of state to give out free water to people in need, and the mayor is hiding information on what the toxin levels are exactly and how bad the situation is.

Chevy- wrote Thats not good at all hope they can fix it soonProbably wont happen soon, the problem didn't just come out of nowhere it took years to develop, the phosphorus that keeps getting dumped into the lake speeds and increases blue/green algae growth and that is what is forming the toxins.... It all really depends on the confirmed test results which keep getting denied release by the mayor. If it is a harmful toxin the fema on stanby will roll in and a fema camp could be setup, distribution of water from oter supplies will be controlled and monitored by national guard and riots may happen so there will be plenty of force shown if needed cause Toledo is a wild city and it is widely known that it is turning into a mini Detroit.

And the situation now is the epa is withholding test results and they are not saying a thing on the news, at least anything important anyways... The mayor accidentally slipped a few words about the problem after someone asked how are people going to pay for this, who is taking care of the water bills and the governor cut him off and said its time to go...
I'm just worried cause i drank gallons of this water and showered in it then all of a sudden 2am yesterday they announce this shit... after everyone is asleep or in bed.

Go on this map [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] and look! we have a radcon 3 alert but it was a 5 earlier, they lowered it down to a 2 when people started confronting news about it on social media, then up to a 3.

Wait so what has happened to the people who have drunk the unsafe water? Are they contaminated with a illness or just get the FLU?
Can't imagine how bad it would be..
