I have a AMD 8320 Overclocked to 4.2ghz on water, run stable, AND pairing that with my R9 280x, I can play any opitimized game (dayz isnt optimized but I play max settings and run it fine, in towns im above 20 fps, so its playable.) at 40+ fps max setings 1080p. I dont see why hes "wasting his time." I think your just being an unhelpful fanboy. So please, get off the forums, and grow up a bit.

Of course, "ggbutton" was out of line but so are you. Flaming and being a hypocrite doesn't make "ggbutton" look any worse, it makes you look worse. The whole "kicks intel right in the face" statement, well, have you heard of the Pentium G3258? Overclocked it can beat an FX-8320 in some games and it costs only $70. Maybe "ggbutton" is a fanboy but there's no need to be rude to him.

Anyway, OP- You can't use an LGA1155 motherboard with an AM3+ CPU. The first motherboard you posted or the motherboard that Buxty suggested are what you will need to go with.

WHAT I AM SAYING is that he has posted crap like that on all sorts of other forums, and I tell you what, you go get your pentium and we will compare fps on dayz, a true cpu user.
