You need a KV, to be unbanned. You need some type of stealth service. (XBLSE) etc. If its ot wireless, you need a network adapter. You need xex menu and games installed with the modded patch that you want

A console that can run unsigned code/homebrew
(JTAG/RGH/R-JTAG)
A internet connection

A service which allows you to connect online without you KV getting banned instantly.
(Offline Files, Server)
A patch or XRPC/RPC/JRPC tool
(iKonroi/Aspect Modding)

You should use a vpn if you have a retail as they do ip ban you (victim)

And if you want to go online you can but you get banned before you sign in usually so you need to either buy online time (stupid) or use free offline files (bans console faster)

If you do buy a console, it usually comes with a unbanned kv that should be unshared. If your unsure what a kv is, it's an item that can't be sold on ttg do to the rules and if you want more info about what it is, PM me

Also, make sure you have xbox 360 neighborhood (SDK) so you can launch games through your computer. Microsoft tends to ban consoles faster if they are found using homebrew (xex menu, FreeStyle Dashboard, Dashlaunch)

So if you have any questions, you can PM me. I'll make sure I'll do my best to help you

First, you need to realize how expensive it is JUST to host. ($100+ for a console - a xenon which is crappy, $10-$25 each time you get banned, and $10 a day for stealth.) If you believe in spending all that money just to host then go for it.

Buying a console just to host is honestly not a very good idea, because it's a LOT of work becoming a well known hoster. Having a console won't make you a big-shot modder instantly.

I HIGHLY reccomend you DON'T get a console if you're just going to host, you'll soon find out it's a lot more costly, frustrating, and a lot more work than you thought.

I Getting a console just for offline modding maybe some online lobbies for ttg. but i know they can be expensive.

The thing is, is they're for SO much more than "modding". That's the least it can do.

I've had over 10kvs banned in my past year of modding.
both my other brohers have 360's, as well as me, as well as 2 xb1's.
none of my retails or retail profiles have ever gotten banned since ive been using an rgh.
im online all the time on it while on retail too.
using same IP.

ive heard people say they "ban ip" but i dont think that is true.
ive had the same IP for 2 years.

also makes no sense as say if i was modding on my college network, they arent gonna ban all 20 consoles connected to the same router.... seems implausible

Dude you haven't, every prime your internet goes off, the router, it resets your ip so I'm sure you have had a power cut and it's gone off.

You're wrong.
Not every time.

I've had the same IP for a long time.
