When he/she starts the game, from the party chat window select their gamertag and go to join session. This should put you right into the game with them. If this has already been posted, let me know.

whats the point of the topic? you can still join your friend in session. they cant patch this because YOU WILL ALWAYS BE ABLE TO JOIN YOUR FRIEND IN PROGRESS!

There is a much simplistic way of joining a friends cage match...

1) Just join a party with your friend
2) Hover over their name (on party menu)
3) Have them search for a cage match
4) Click on your friends name when the little guy with a disc pops up nect to what they're playing (Join in progress)
5) Click join, and your in (easy)

Note: don't click on your friends name until the join symbol appears beside the game they are playing (Guy with disc)

or one of you could go to the main menu and hover over the players name so it says only press Y to change sort then the other player searches and when he's searched all you have to do is press X

lol man this isnt patched.. just do it the normal way go into a party and join session

Good idea but the old way isn't patched so therefore this isn't needed.
