I have my 360 opened up and I have a fan ready to install I'm not sure where each wire needs to go to on the motherboard all I know is the fan is 12v to power. [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

It helped a lot thank you but is the 12v point across both of the pads or just the one nearest the ground

Really wished i wouldve seen this earlier, just put a fan on top of my jasper (for looks not heating issues) and used the dvd drive wire for 12v...

Really wished i wouldve seen this earlier, just put a fan on top of my jasper (for looks not heating issues) and used the dvd drive wire for 12v...

i don't like to use the dvd drive 12v point i found this solder point awhile ago and i think it's better
I didn't have the time to search for the point so I said screw it and went for the DVD drive, I agree though I don't like using it as well
