I'm 100% positive that the best car in the world (stock and for the price, not including Lamvos and stuff like that) is a Subaru WRX STI. They're awd, and come stock with like 300 HP to the wheels, making them the equivalent of almost 500 HP if it was a 2-wheel drive car.
They can go off-roading, race in the streets, they're super reliable, safe and awesome looking. If you don't love the WRX, you're crazy.

Its definitely not equivalent to 500hp in a rwd car lol. And I prefer the evo's over the subaru

My man! evo over sti any day. I love my evo to death! A Subaru will have a more comfortable interior but a Subaru wont beat an evos performance.

There very similar cars, almost even when it comes to performance, but I just like how the evos look more than the subaru's, but yea imo evo>subaru

STI's are decent cars man i have no problems with them, as a evo owner and lover I will not flame you on just the rivalry we have between each other. But understand that the sti's have ALOT of problems, just try and google it. Do not use a STI bias website just search around. They are nice cars man, just...not the best in the world. lol And about the HP yes you will have ALOT RWD car from a dig, but from a roll your going to have some issues if you are trying to race a 500rwhp car vs 300 awhp STI.
Do some research on them, Evos are EXPENSIVE and STI's are not bad cars at all for the price.
