Case looks horrible and $90 for a 500W PSU is a bit steep. There's no need to buy an OS, you can get it "other ways". Change the 4570 to a 4590 and you won't really need an aftermarket CPU cooler. The stock CPU cooler for the 4590 is fine, especially since you won't be over-clocking. You can easily get a Z97 chipset motherboard instead of Z87 and save $30-$40. All of these savings could have got you a much better GPU since it's pretty low end compared to the rest of your build(it's pretty lower end anyway IMO). You could also upgrade to faster RAM for around the same price.

Z97>Z87 purely because they're newer. With the Z97 chipset being so cheap right now, I odn't really see any reason not to go with it unless you're on a really tight budget. An overclockable CPU as well so you have the option if you ever desire to overclock. Although, adding an aftermarket cooler would be a good idea if you did overclock. Same brand RAM, but faster for an extra $3.50. Nicer, cleaner case which is fantastic btw, as well as a good quality semi-modular PSU and a better GPU.

i already own the gpu which is why its in there so thats pretty solidified

and i know the fractal cases are very well designed in terms of space and temp control but i was looking for a more intense looking case like the viper GX, if you had another case to suggest i would definitely look into it

Your original budget was $900 and now it's reduced to $700? The case sucks. It looks horrible, it definitely doesn't look "intense". Cable management in that case looks to be non-existent also. Define R4 or NZXT H440 would be a better option for that price. FX-8350 is a bad choice. The 8320 would be a better choice than the 8350 but with your budget, Intel would be the best route. Like I said, OS can easily be obtained for free, no need to purchase it. The R7 260X is $35 cheaper than the GTX 750 and is pretty equal performance wise so would have been a better option.

Although, since you seem adamant on purchasing an OS and using the GTX 750, here;

Still within your now $700(instead of $900 for some reason) budget but will perform better. The RAM is much better, CPU and mobo are better, case is much better. Only downside is that the PSU is non-modular but that won't cause any real problems.

Intel route is better than AMD at the moment, especially with a budget that large. Keep the GPU you have. I also included an OS in the price and a sufficiently sized SSD. Better RAM and case. The NZXT H440 is more "intense" looking than the Define R4 so will probably be more to your liking.

I don't think you're even reading my posts? I mean, your budget has completely dropped, again for some reason. As I've said, Intel is a better route than AMD as the i5 performs better than the majority(if not, all) AMD's FX series and Intel has a better upgrade route as well. The 2nd case you've decided on also looks horrible. I've heard good things about Thermaltake's Urban series of cases but nothing about the "Commander Epic Edition".
