why is it when I go to purchase a free game on the xbox one marketplace it says I have no gold membership I've had one since January and play online games everyday.... Any help??

It's a bug on XBL's end. The best thing you can do to try to fix it is power cycling your Xbox (Hold the power button on your console for 10 seconds).
A lot of people have the same issue and some can't play online at all. A lot of people have tried contacting Xbox Live support but have not received a whole lot of help. You could also try removing your account of your Xbox then adding it back.
