xChillest wrote Just to ask, why exactly are you trying to flash a devkit nand to your RGH? I really don't see much of a point in it anymore considering a retail exploited nand can do almost everything a devkit nand can do.
XBMovie and taking screenshots of halo 3 without the crappy color stuff. Why does that matter?

XBMovie won't run on consoles unless they are legitimate devkit consoles with 1GB RAM, your RGH only comes with 512MB RAM and can't physically run it. You can also take screenshots of your console using Xbox Neighborhood with the corresponding plugin, and it will look exactly like it would normally. Like I said, retail exploited consoles can now do almost everything a devkit can do.
Maybe I have other reasons. Like I said. Why does it matter?

btw for Halo 3 you can't take screenshots with neighborhood. The RAM doesn't matter for XBmovie, only the sound may be offput. Why are you trying to put me down? If you aren't going to help answer the OP, then don't reply...

What matter is that he knows what he is talking about. You asked us for help, then when we try to help you don't except it as an answer. You can't use XBMovie without a real devkit. If you do get it to work you will have shitty game experience. The system doesn't have the resources to record gameplay like you want.

It's a better use of time to just buy a capture card. RGLoader doesn't support the newer dashboard.
I don't have the newer dashboard... and I said I'm using TX Fusion...

You just lost any chance of getting help on this topic. I'm not an Idiot. I know what I'm talking about. You are the one that can't figure out how to use a Devkit kernel, and I'm the idiot, Right. Also you didn't prove xChillest wrong. It takes RAM to record gameplay AND play games. Xbox 360's can barely run the games it has. You need more ram.

I'm trying to help you out, your console won't be able to run XBMovie because the RAM does matter, and you can take normal screenshots using Neighborhood on any game. I'm not trying to put you down, just trying to keep you from doing something you may regret.

Let's put it this way. When you try to run Battlefield 3 on a computer with 2GB RAM, it won't work. Same concept with the Xbox 360. Also, the screenshots don't depend on media ID, they just capture whatever image your console is putting out. So it will work on every game, and even on the dashboard.

"Xenon kit" is still a devkit and has a full GB of RAM.

Why the profanity? You obviously did something wrong, most likely an outdated plugin. I can take screenshots from any game and not get the color dis-configuration. The screenshot that's taken is from what is being put out of the console, and the only interference would be a problem with the plugin.

Have you tried screenshotting Halo 3 through Xbox Neighborhood? It's like that on any non-dev kernel.

Besides a few extremely rare cases, only the XNA Kit has a full GB of RAM.
