if your going to spend that much on a gaming computer id just build one or have somebody do it for you. also you can have a way better machine for less of the price.

The laptop's specs look surprisingly better than the tower that you suggested. And the laptop that he linked has an i7. If he was to get a tower then he should build his own.

The laptop looks okay. As always, the laptop is always going to have somewhat lackluster components compared to full sized PC towers of the same price.

It has been said - If you want to play games while getting the most from your money, then building your own PC will always be the way to go, but I'm sure that there is a perfectly good reason why you are choosing not to buy a tower.

The laptop will be able to play all games at low-medium, maybe high on some games at a playable frame rate.

The one he has listed is not good for it size. it has way to much power for its size and not ehough fans & cooling power.
