I have looked at so many graphics cards that I can't choose. Could someone recommend me a good card for around 400GBP.

I do things like 3D animation/ 3D rendering and play intense games like BF4 on my PC so I would like something that has at least 3Gb of RAM and a good clock speed.

Could someone recommend me a card?

My specs are alright apart from the graphics card, but here they are anyway.

OS: Windows 8.1 Pro 64-Bit
CPU: intel core i5 Hazwell @2.9GHz
RAM: 8.0GB
Motherboard: Advent MS-7728
Sound Card: ASUS Xonar DGX
Graphics Card: Radeon HD 7850 RoyalKing
PSU: Corsair RM650

I have considered upgrading my motherboard and CPU but it doesn't give me much advantage gaming wise so no point.

The price of a GTX 770 is about half of his card budget, if he has 400 GBP to spend on the card, might as well go for an even higher end card for the price (Unless OP wants to spend some on all around upgrades like fuzzy dice)

@OP I would look for something you like in the 290x range like others said above. I've heard good things about the Windforce Gigabyte Edition, it's pretty expensive, but it's marked down for now around your price range on Amazon. Also when you're looking at cards in this price range, I would also hope you're running a dual 1080p monitor or 1440p setup for the best performance, running this kind of power on a single 21.5" 1080p monitor for example seems like a huge waste.

Since you plan on rendering, upgrading to an i7 could be a good choice. However, with a £400 budget, you can't go wrong with this;
