When I plug my mic into the controller, people can hear me, but I cannot hear them. I can't hear the beeping when I try to increase the volume. However, when I mute the mic, the orange line does appear to indicate its muted. Has this ever happened to anyone? Does anyone know of a solution to this? Do I just need to buy a new one or is this fixable?
Thanks in advance!
Thanks in advance!

Try an update your controller via micro USB

I have had a similar problem and it's the wiring inside so i have decided i am better off getting a proper headset like turtle beach as its an extra 20 to get them rather than a Microsoft one

I have problems with my adapter to my tb's. One thing that does seem to help is having the control plugged into the xbox.
