It's what your would prefer I mean I like android better but I had a look at the iPhone 6 it looks good but I'm on Samsung Galaxy S3 but I'm upgrading in a few months to the S5

I say get a Samsung Device. I have have the Galaxy S5(rooted) and its a amazing device. It has so many thing you can do with it and the root makes it even better. I do know the HTC is a good phone because my buddy has one but stay away from IPhones.

Right now I am dying waiting for my plan to go away for an upgrade. When i can upgrade i will either get the next HTC or the next Galaxy, whichever one has the better specs.

In my opinion, get a Samsung.
Currently I have the s5, and it's badass, the ir blaster is so much fun, I now have the ability to change tv channels when out at a restaurant, or annoy the teacher in class by turning off the tv.

I had an iPhone for many years, but just recently traded in for an HTC One M8, it was cool for the first month, the ir blaster was pretty lame, and annoying and tedious to set up, the NFC didn't work, and the onscreen buttons were fairly annoying.

I just bought my S5 last month, and I love it, so far I've had no problems, and the whole waterproof feature is great, good to use for listening to music in the shower...or whatever else you do in there xD

Nah but in the end, it's personal preference, Android is fairly hard to get used to, but once you know the ins and the outs (takes a couple weeks), the phone turns into a beast. And you won't turn back to apple.
