No, not right now IMO. It has limited games and not to many people have it. I know people that purchased it the first week it came out and barely play it. But overall, it's your opinion. I would say, wait until around until some deals are on the xbox one and price goes down a bit

Yes, people don't like it because it's expensive.

It's an excellent console but needs more games, enjoyed each game I've played on it so far.

It doesn't help that the Xbox community is split at the moment between Xbox One and 360. Depending on which game is released on Xbox One the online servers aren't that busy at the moment.

I was very reluctant at buying mine as i hardly play the Xbox 360 for passed year and a half but gradualy been bobbing on it now and then. i know theres not many games (well there is quite a few what i think most mean is not many of the mainstream ones or ones most would play) but the best way i saw at looking at it is:

If i have the money now to buy it i have to take into consideration:
~will the money be better used elsewere within the next month or so?
~how many upcoming titles am i willing to get?
~What "bundles" or deals can i get (i noticed if i got a bundle of the 500gb console alone with ghosts for 375 and bought BF4 seperately from the same retailer id end up saving on thier 430 bundle of the same stuff! so beware of some bundles!)
~How many friends have it ?

but my most persuading thing in choosing was "Will the console come down in price within the next 6 months?" and sadly i had to say no not by much the most will be just after christmas but flooded with football/Yearly release games that are usually 10 brand new a month or two after release.

you probably arent in the same boat so to speak as me but with the stuff mentioned alongside the price i also had to take into consideration i am amidst moving into a new place with my GF and with us both having Xbox 360s , Laptops, desktops, nintendo DS , wii etc i thought for the sake of plonking my Xbox 360 in the guest room and using the Xbox one as a front room console for all its main purposes it was worth spending it on.

i slightly regret buying it yeah cause half the mates on it are back playing bloody 360 games now but i dont regret it aswell cause i now have a blu ray, a party game (kinnect) , the apps such as netflix etc are a bit easier and seem more fluid with iphones/ipads and android devices smartglass, and in the future some crazy stuff will come out for it.

Eh, i'd wait until the console functions better + when more games come out.

Right now, I'm having so many issues with internet, lag, and just a slow console in general (navigating menus or dashboard)
