so ive had this xbox for a very long time, i bought it from a friend about i dunno, 3 years ago for 10 bucks. its on 1888 firmware (i believe the first firmware), and its never seen a day of online use in its life. i really want to jtag it but theres one problem, and i believe it needs reballing, but maybe some of you can help, it likes to red ring. ive got it booted twice in the whole 3 years. i believe it may be something with the cpu or the gpu, and ive put new compound on them nd cleaned everything up real good thats how i got it booted the first time. but any help would be appreciated!

Well I've been told by someone that it's worth a crapton, just because it's so old and rare. I don't know the exact price, but if you find the right buyer, it'd deffinitely be worth it.
BTW; the king kong exploit is nothing like the JTAG exploit, it just boots linux. I'd do some research on it.

It is a xenon, manufactured in 2005. I think i might do what you said, sell it, and buy a trinity rgh. that would be the best bet lol. if i could get that much for it that is.

Yeah, you'd definitely have to find the right buyer though. It's almost a collectible since it's so old.

Back in the day - before i went to pc because of a console ban, i had a jtag, it was a falcon, and it was nothing real special i never went online because of the fear of ban, i actually sold it for like 50 bucks. but anyways if i had the money i would definitely pick that up. im trying little things to get this stupid thing to work lol.
