Well from what I saw there were a few cases which got huge publicity which blew it out of proportion. But i used the H100 non-i for a year and had no issues.

I've yet to hear a case of a H100i user having leak issues at all.

Sounds like the cards still worked, and they are covered by warranty. If you were THAT concered, mount it in the front of your case.

cheeze wrote Well, it isn't really comparable because I trust in my own threat assessment and ability to cross short distances without being taken out of commission

Even with a closed loop like this, it isn't exactly rare. There's refurbs for a reason

Most, if not all the refurbs are brand new, They have been sent back because they didn't want it or they ordered the wrong one. However, they can't be sold as new because of it. So they have to be checked and then sold as a refurb. In any case, you are less likely to have a refurb fail because each has been individually checked unlike all of the H100i's that go out without being checked.

RAM: LP Vengeance
Case: Corsair C70

Need a (small preferable) high performance cpu cooler for under 40/50 GBP

Should provide adequate OC'ing headroom for a 4790k.

I do not want water.

I'm not overly interested in the 212

Important: HAS to be from overclockers.co.uk - just does.
