I actually like what I see in it but I never tried Razer, I'm a SteelSeries guy.

Would recommend any of the Blackwidow keyboards from Razer, very durable keys and survives drinks being dropped on it

I would recommend the Blackwidow Ultimate over this.
The Blackwidow has mechanical, raised keys, so it will be better for gaming.
I use the Blackwidow, and the only complaint I have is that the mechanical keys are pretty loud (bothers other people, not me), but it's entirely worth it.

The expert edition is the same but cheaper and doesn't have a back light which can be annoying anyway.

You can adjust the brightness with built in shortkeys

My opinion? A chiclet keyboard for $80 is stupid. People who buy it don't know anything about keyboards and didn't bother researching. You can get backlit boards in a few configurations at this price point.
