So I was out today for work and for social meetup with my family and friends. Left my steam account on while out and came back to see that my Paypal was used multiple times that calculated to 400 pound. I was trying to figure out if I did actually buy anything and my brain just stopped functioning because I was wondering what the hell would I use 400 pound for, I then see that it was used on Steam wallet and whoever did it used it on random stuff because I have no new games and no logged trade offers.
Question is I scanned my whole PC and found a somewhat of a keylogger and I'm guessing that's the reason why I'm out of pocket. Just wondering if Steam will still give me a refund if it's an actual keylogger on my PC or will they use an excuse to not give me the money back because its basically my fault for keeping a keylogger/rat on my PC without noticing?
*PC has been factory reset and I seen that the download was not by me but by my family member. Kinda annoying but guess they have no clue about technology.
Hope someone can help and can tell me if Steam will actually help.

I mean, as long as it wasn't giving money to other players you should be fine. They could refund you if you're nice and stuff, you just have to find the right support member.

If you show proof to the support member that picks up your refund ticket (screenshots and what not) then I am sure that they will come to some sort of agreement with you to clear it up. Just go and get onto Steam and make a refund ticket if you have not already.
Wish you luck.

Ring up steam and plead your case. As long as you can prove everything I'm sure you'll be fine. Good luck to ya

Sent in a refund ticket about it, but ill have to hope that I get a support member that knows what they're doing and doesn't delay it even further.
Thanks for help, appreciate it.
