I am thinking of renting a server and don't really know how it works, when i buy it do i get give an ip address? or get emailed all the stuff i need?

If anyone knows how it works that'd be great

Back in my time of renting a Minecraft Server, around Version 1.2.5 time, I used a service called [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] . They have awesome quality servers, with easy plugin adding, and affordable prices. In your Control Panel, they have the IP to your server, and easy managing w/ it.
