there is more versions that just "Dayz", there is mods of Dayz, "Epoch", "Overpoch" ect...

So when you load up "Dayz" using that, it will load up just default "DayZ" no mods or anything, and there is pretty much no servers for that anymore, so you will be trying to join an "Epoch" server, without the needed files.

I would recommend downloading "Dayz Commander" here - [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] , just scroll to the bottom of the page and click the download.


you can install all the mods for Dayz at the click of one button and it will filter the server browser to display servers running only that mod.

I have already donwloaded that and i also have epoch from that, all them words still pop up......

Yes but are you still using the icon you linked to launch the game?

Yes, anything that is corrupt, re-install.
