Well, it depends on what you're using it for. They are used for capturing action shots etc, and say doing a certain activity. Like you can get head cam's for them & say go mountain biking.

Really depends what you want it for, i might be wrong but my it's just my opinion.

In my opinion they are way to expensive
you can get other makes that are just as good like ION

If you are doing something that you feel you would like to record, I personally feel that they are one of the best cameras for the job. However, they are kind of priey.

if you know that you will will be using it a lot of time go ahead, but have it clear in your head what you will be using it for and keep asking yourself the question is it worth the price.

If you don't do exciting stuff a lot throughout your life then I would say no but if your interested in recording great stuff and your life has a lot of adrenaline they yeah its worth it

I have had my gopro for about a year and a half now, and I have only used it maybe 3-4 times.
