I guess I could save money but is it really not worth just paying 50 for Windows 7?

What GPU would you recommmend?

Also, if I overclocked that Pentium - what GHz is it capable of?

EDIT: I'm a noob but why the XFX and not the Sapphire Radeon?

It all depends. I can;t say exactly what you'll be able to overclock to. Each individual CPU is different. I've heard people saying 4.8GHz was there limit though. Some people said they couldn't go beyond 4.5GHz. I'd recommend an R9 270 at least. Sapphire would be fine if you prefer.

Now I know why Pentium is worshipped in this forum. The overclock power is glorious. Thanks for the help, I'll probably save up to 400 and build your suggestion with a better GPU.

Personal preference. I prefer Win7 but a lot of people will say 8.1, you will have to decide foryourself.

I'll probably get 7 because I'm used to it and it's cheaper.

I would suggest going with Intel instead of AMD.

I'm gonna go with Sanctorum's build and that has an Intel Pentium G3258.
