Hey guys,
So recently I bought a KV from a guy who claimed that the KV was unshared then admitted it was shared after I bought it. Anyway, I replaced my KV, rebooted the console, all my XBLSE notifications were popping up (like normal), and I pressed create account. I named my character, and when connecting to the avatar creator/xbox live, a window popped up that said System Update Required. Me being new to JTAG'ing, I said no and came on this site for possible help.

Also, what could be the worst that can happen from updating?

Go on your retail and check the dashboard version if they are the same you can do the update

If you are absolutely sure your console is Up to date then it is most likely just the avatar update which you can just select yes and download that update but you have to make sure or when you update it will blow your fuses and ruin your console.

yeh ^ if your 100% your on the latesh dash it should do no harm just an avatar update, it came up for me and i downloaded it
