My first car was a 2001 honda prelude
I bought mine for 6k with 100k miles 2+ years ago.
I'm sorry to say, but I think you got bad deal. You will be called a ricer because of the obnoxious body kit and chrome rims, and people who put such on their car generally do not maintain their cars as well. I would suggest changing the front bumper to stock or mugen, unless you really love what you have. The paint looks really nice but doesn't match the body kit it looks like.
Anyways, congrats on the first car! You should check out preludezone.com and some other prelude forums as well ;)

Pretty neat I guess, I like the white. However, the chrome wheels don't seem to go well, perhaps invest into some black rims it'd look a million times better. Secondly, the front bumper, I'd get that checked. As a car enthusiast, that front bumper doesn't look to safe. It's not even properly aligned. Other than that nice car What is it a 2 litre or 2.2 litre? Time to get it remapped, add some added horsepower ;)

Have you got a full titanium turbo back exhaust system? It's sound the bees knees! Sweet ride though man for a first time driver I currently drive an R34 GTR Skyline, recently drove a Focus RS. Very tidy car, but check that front bumper ;)

Not a fan of the body kit or wheels.

I own a 97 Prelude aha.

But i think yours is riced out..

I got mine for $2400 and all it needs is a driver side quarter panel and a valve adjustment. Paint is in great condition and interior is just too clean.
