The drive is fine, i tested in another xbox, it powers on , spins, and ejects. It would do none of the above in my xbox. I then went and test the power cable for my xbox 360 dvd drive. There is NO POWER be sent to the drive. The xbox functions normally except for the fact that no power is being sent to the 360. It will access live, and play back all media. Just can't play games now because the disk drive isn't getting power.
If the above paragraph didn't make since I get the error E 64 , it's about my disc drive. The black wire that plugs into my disc drive works but the white wires that also go into the drive are alittle tangled an out of place so I'm thinking this might be the problem. Any ideas or solutions?
