It lets you play games over a wifi connection.(stream the game to the xkey via a pc.) But the game could lag pretty bad bc its via a connection.

ive got a console im selling with one pre installed and already updated loaded with games, you can go online 100% safer than being flashed, doesnt need to be flashed to use it .. and you can go online with friends yes as long as your not playing a game that hasnt been released yet than you have a chance of a ban check the marketplace for my gears of wars slim bundle with everything you will have needed to get started..

Also one more question, how should I go about getting the DVD key? I could connect my dvd drive to my PC via sata but I would have no way to power it unless i moved my entire xbox over to my pc which then I could still power it but it wouldn`t go to the dashboard because it would have no video connection.

You would need to get and x360usb pro, ck3 lite, and possibly even a probe 3. If your xbox is an xbox 360 e you would need to get it rgh'd for the dvd key.
