Hello. I might be studying in USA in 2016 university. And i think most of you have heard that the Mitsubishi Evo will be discontinued next year. I loved this car since i was a kid. And now i'm wondering if the mitsubishi dealership would have a brand new one in 2016, or at least if i could order it. Do you think i will find?
Sorry for my bad english.

You might be able to find a used one with low miles. I bought a 2009 Pontiac G8 and Pontiac as a whole was shut down. It might have very little miles on it or it will be a used one. Most likely not a brand new one.

Once the car manufacturer has discontinued developing the Evolution Lancer, obtaining one "new" would be extremely rare, if not impossible. Unless someone has purchased one but not used it, which let's face it; the chances of that, they're pretty slim. Either way, as mentioned above. Finding one with minimal damage and low milage is possible. You can make it look new, if you aren't afraid of spending a few bob on it. It's a machine of a car, puts out some immense power, but once it's discontinued, I can guarantee the price will escalate dramatically. I'd try and get one sooner than then.

Forget the new ones get a older one. I love my 03 evo 8 and I would never get a evo x. Long and feel so heavy when driving them. I would never be comfortable doing the kind of driving I do in my 8 as I could in a x. But if your not good at working on cars and fixing little things you minus well by a new on with a warranty lol. Evos aren't for most people.

Evos aren't for most people.Look man, i stopped street racing and tuning long time ago after i've had lots of crashes. I'm going to usa for studying, i won't be tuning and street racing( I won't risk it, since i'm not from this country). I just like the evo, i like its nice interior, very simple not complicated. I'm not a fanboy so if i don't find a good evox, i would get an STi.

You could possibly find one depending on how quick you can come to America. For example, Infiniti discontinued their G37 in 2013. It's 2014 and I can still find over 50 G37's within 50 miles of me. You can always buy a car across the country and have it shipped to you if you spend extra as well. It'll be hard to find an Evo with everything that you desire in a car but it's possible. Don't expect to get one in the winter of 2016 though, dealerships get aggressive with selling their cars in the fall to clear out their inventory so you have to come earlier in 2016 to have a chance.
