Im sorrry to tell you but yur at a bad situation just because you need over a 75 kd to get the knife and you have a lot of kills and downs so it might be really slow getting there. FYI kills online count mor e towards your rank than playing solo or custom games.

KD is not nor has it ever been associated with ranking up. The DEVELOPERS have stated it's round to downs and being consistenly good/improving your game months a ago. Meaning the higher the round you reach continously with going down as little as possible will rank you up. It has been tested and proved by not only myself but by many players.

You can rank up without killing zombies by using traps to get you into high rounds if you known how to strategicly place them and use as in buried for example. Anything played online count towards rank just as much as the other: custom games both easy and original, solo, co-op and even grief if you are good. Stats and leader board scores also do not aid in ranking up, only In game downs and rounds reached.

Even if you made it to 61 once that doesn't bring up your average round to the point of you ranking up due to only making it to 21 the next game or in the realm of under 30.

Just keep improving your skills, don't go down a lot and be consistent in your rounds reached.
