Hey everyone, Driven here. I was at my friends house today and I had my old account downloaded on his Xbox. So when I tried to sign in, I got this message:
"Sorry, there's a problem with the credentials that you're using to sign in. Go to [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] to fix the problem"
So, when I get home I try to recover my old account, and I got the same message.
I went to the website I was told to go to and tried to login to my account, but I then got this message:
"It looks like someone else may be using your account"
So, I tried to fill out a survey but I couldn't confirm that the account was mine. If anyone can help me at all, I would very much appreciate it. Also, there will be a $20 reward via PayPal if I get the account back. Please help me.

You need to ring Microsoft and tell them everything you know about the account details, If you don't have enough proof of the account being yours they will not give you it.
I.e. Security questions.??

I have already called them and this account is from 2010 and I have no idea what I put the security questions as.

-Bucketz wrote the person changed your account details. call xbox and explain to them what happened and they can get it back.
I called them and they said until I can prove that I own the account, I won't get it back.

Did you input any security questions when making the account? If they haven't already they probably changed them

Have you tried telling them it was on your friends xbox? Try finding all the security questions and choose a random one and see if it is right. If it is right say what you think the BEST answer is to it that you think you put. Do you have any payments made on the account also?

unless you haven't got any proof of the account you're trying to recover is actually yours, microsoft wont do anything about it, because alot of kids try to steal other people's accounts that way..

No payments made, and I already tried telling them everything. They still don't believe me.
