Are you stupid? I said African American to be respectful and not just say "This black kid" and cause more problems to a situation that is already delicate. If you're so annoyed by it i could change it but i'll just add that is was requested by you.

Nope. If you're going to shoot someone, you are shooting to kill. A police officer carries nonlethal weapons for incapacitating people. If a situation escalates to the point where he needs to draw his weapon and use it, he should be shooting to eliminate the threat. Granted we don't have all of the facts in this case, but if it comes out that is in fact true that Michael Brown attempted to disarm the officer then he deserves to be shot. What do you think he would have done to the officer if he successfully got the gun away from him? Would that have been a "hate crime"?

Yeah, shoot to kill. That's worked for the US so many times. Look at all the riots that happen when a white authority figure shoots an African American.. Shooting to kill really solves all problems doesn't it? Shoot the person in the leg, handcuff them, then take them in to custody.. Instead of unloading 10 bullets into one guy.

I am just going to state my opinion as I've watched this and I've seen some like these in my life, if he was not a black man this would never make any headlines whatsoever. I hope you guys agree and I'm not being racist but the news doesn't care about the people. Like nancy grace, she's only in it for a good headline. She feels no sympathy. Only fame and everybody who is "outraged" by this just helps her cause. Yes. It's sad but this happens multiple times a year. Rougue police officers are nothing new. But we hear this on because of him being in the ghetto. Sounds racist. Swear it's not

I am sorry to say, but if you truly believe that people are simply rioting because of the fact that a white person killed a black person, you're ignorant. They're rioting because the kid didn't even rob the store, as the store owner said, and he was unarmed and gunned down entirely by police. I'm sure that if you had a son who had no weapons on him and he was shot to death, you'd be rioting and quite mad, too.

If you have been keeping up with this, the officer didn't mean to kill Michael Brown. Michael Brown was walking in the middle of the street and the officer told him to move. Brown preceded to bull rush the officer and beat him into the seat of his cop car. Then Brown struggled for the officer's gun, which in turn fired off into Brown's hand(scathing him according to the autopsy). Brown began to retreat after this. The officer(doing the right thing), recovered from the beating and drew his gun saying "freeze". Brown then turned around and began to taunt the officer saying things like "you're not gonna shoot me", etc. Then Brown proceeded to bull rush the officer again. In self defense, the officer proceeded to shoot Brown 8 times in the arm. Even after the gunshot wounds, Brown still continued his attack. It ended when the officer shot Brown in the forehead, killing him. I'm not saying that Brown deserved to die, but he clearly had many opportunities to do the right thing. I agree about your racism point, however.

Seeing as you're not black you don't have a right to speak for them and what they have been through.
