so im buying my first car this Thursday and it needs new headers(we believe because it has a exhaust leak my dad thinks it the headers) anyways its a 1998 honda civic si with a 1.6 b16A2 engine in it but i cant seem to find some after market headers for it,it all seems to be cx dx etc so my question is will the cx or dx headers fit. it might be a stupid question but i am just wondering thanks guys

How much money are you paying for the si? You can easily get a better car for the price your paying.
And they might not fit since there built for a cx or dx. In other words different sized engines. But i don't know that much about civic's so i can't say for sure they won't fit.

How many miles? 100k for that price would be a great deal.

Don't buy the car. It's not worth it. And since it has that many miles you'll have to baby it. Aftermarket headers is going to make it last even less. Even though if you take care of the car a ton. There's a limit to how long the engine can last.
In a nutshell. You'll be paying money for a sports car and high insurance and not even be able to use the capabilities of the car since you'll have to baby it. Also it prob has 5-12% less horsepower because of the mileage.

Dont listen to them A civic Si for 650$ is a steal. Sure it has alot of miles but just for a b16 transmission it will go for 1k. A civic SI were I live (WA) Will easily go for 3k+. Now for a header Just search google for B16 header really depends if you want a top of the line or a ebay one..
