first of all.....
my computer is windows xp so its OLD!

anyway, whenever i go to search on the internet its says its not connected but when i see the internet it says connected and signal strength strong. I do not no what to do!

can you try connecting it through ethernet buddy and have u got the windows disk with it

Your network adapter might be going bad in the computer, try replace it

i have it wireless and i dont think i have, ive had the tower like 7 years xD. so i cant even reset my tower. i had it working when i first set it up then i turned it off for the night and it just hasnt worked after

Just try going ethernet and then update your network adapter online

i wish i could but my wireless router is downstairs so i cant and i havent got a big enough ethernet

Have you tried resetting your internet and laptop?

yeah ive got a new router, i use a network adaptor, and no its my tower on my pc. Also yes i have changed it all like settings for it all it all connected and working other than it wont load the internet
