when i put the disk in it trys to read it but it cant for some reason

open and close the tray with no disc in about 5 times then put the disc in i do it all the time if this happens

i had this problem it may sound stupid but the scanner is to far up so it cant read so you have to unplug it face the dvd tray down and slap the back of your xbox you need to smack it hard like 6 times UNPLUGGED hope i helped

maybe its just scratched and you cant do anything ?
