I want to start streaming on twitch. Any good microphones that would help? Or anything better the turtle beach X12s?
Thanks!

I would Recommend Some Good Headphones (Without a Mic) and get a Mic that sits on your desk so that the headphone & Mic quality is good. Juts my opinion. If your looking for headphones then try getting The most recent Turtle Beaches, they will due good I hope. I have streamed and I do work best with a Stand-Up-Mic that isnt too big so it dosnt get in your way at all. Hope this helps man!

I recently bought the Plantronics GameCom 780 headset, and it's excellent value (among the cheapest you can buy). I've tested the mic and the recording quality - it seems great to me. I'm not an audiophile, but it definitely seems better than other headsets i've used in the past (alot, including turtle beaches). The headset features dolby surround sound too, which I've found brings games closer to reality and an overall better experience.

I've heard positive things about the above headset too (Logitech G35), so that's also something to consider.

How much money do you have to spend on a microphone? I'm surprised no one has asked that yet since that is one of the most important things to mention when asking for suggestions.

I have a Blue snowball and the quality is great, think about getting a usb mic and preferably getting a popfilter.

If you're looking to get a headset and a microphone, I would have to say get the plantronics gamecom 780 as your headset, and maybe a microphone from blue. The snowball is a really well built microphone that goes for about 50 dollars on amazon, and 100 dollars in store. A step up in the Blue Yei, which I used to own, but I didn't use it as much as I liked, so I got rid of it. The blue yeti has a lot more settings, sounds better, and goes for about 95 dollars on amazon. If you want to get it in store, it's about 150.

The plantronics gamecom is definitely worth every penny. It's about 60 dollars and has Dolby 7.1 surround sound which is amazing. Movies, games, everything sounds amazing on them.

Good luck, friend!

I've heard great things about the Blue Snowball.

Not owned one, but if it lives up to what people say about it, then you can't go wrong!

I would recommend the Sennheiser PC350's they sound amazing and are quite durable, they have a bit of a price tag but you get what you pay for.
