I like it, it's clean and colorful. The simplicity makes it look childish but it's pleasant for me, reminds me of some flash animation background.

Yeah, because it has a polygon mesh.....
Illustrator is more on the spot. It's a flat design, pure and simple.

I totally agree with you. Maybe it will change when I will do 3D by myself but in gnral I found 3D stuff quite overloaded.
