when you hot swap disc you need the original and the iso (only while you are hot swaping) once the modded disc is in your xbox and it reads it as the game you can install it but you will still need the original disc... what happens once you install it is you put the original disc in but when you start the game it reads the iso

No I mean can you play a game non-modded like if i wanted borderlands 2 just the normal game with one disc?

Yeah basically what the dude above me said. You need both discs (the iso and original) in other words if you put the iso in your xbox it's just gonna say "Play DVD"

yes you can play unmodded but if you want to play most of the time without mods i suggest not installing the iso (otherwise it will just read that) all you have to do is just play the iso when you want the mods (hot swapping every time you want them) as long as you dont install the iso you can put the original disc in and play unmodded

edit: sorry did not realize you meant normal games... yes you can play them no problem
