That place annoys me, do they even read what people would like or just make up an excuse not to do it and just close the topic stopping other people to express their views.
or example I would like to see a health and workout section within the forums for a number of reasons, most importantly it may help people start to workout if they didn't know what they were doing because they could get advice from people who do know.
However about a minute after posting this in the site enhancements section, it gets closed down, even after I have seen multiple posts about this since becoming a member of TTG 3 years ago!
Ridiculous

So you had seen multiple posts about it already?
Yet you thought because you posted it, it would make a difference.
This is more a gaming community.

So yeah they do read, as we have seen things implemented from peoples ideas.
Just because "your" thread wasnt snapped up doesnt mean they ignore them.

Im not saying my post should just magically make a difference, but seeing a number of posts about it should surely show that people do want something like that.
Also if this is a 'gaming community' what is with the Car forum, sports forum full of baseball and NFL etc?
Finally, what is wrong with working out? Making yourself look good, fit and healhy, decreasing your chance of dying from some serious illnesses. Yes I like gaming, but I also like to look after my self personally, not becoming a overweight slob who just sits on a chair all day eating high fat foods and becoming depressed slowly?

Because they were very very popular topics.
All I have seen about fitness and health has been in the suggestion area and even that died a death.

Did you even read why your topic was closed? What exactly makes you think it's acceptable to create your own topic shortly after the same thread with 150+ replies was closed not even a day earlier?
90% of the topics that come out of that section are either "add more badges" or "add a new section for this thing that nobody has ever heard of or is entirely irrelevant to the site". That's why so many topics are closed.
We can't implement every single idea you guys come up with just because you like the idea, otherwise we would have 500 sections that are entirely dead. It's about making improvements that people would actually use.
Wrong. We would rather have one thread with 150 replies (like the one we closed already) than 150 separate threads.
