I have a ipad one of the older ones, i cant get most of the apps because its too old and its on 5.1.1 firmware, how can i get past this and download most apps? i tried appcake but that didnt work...

Any help would be great

Then unfortunately you're stuck in the dark because Apple doesn't support there old devices. So you can do nothing with it.

Well you are as I didn't say UPGRADE I said CHANGE. You can trick the system into thinking you're on a certain version, upgrade your apps, then go back to your version. But since you're not stupid, you do not require help with this.

There is no way to spoof an operating system on an iPad as it does not support OS's other than what Apple have approved for it.



The only way to get the newer apps is to get a newer iPad. Say what you want about Apple, but they are great at marketing.
