My neighbor's car recently died on him and he actually came to me and asked me if I was looking to sell mine. It's a 98 Nissan Altima. Windshield has a crack in it. Back left caliper is locked up, needs a new battery. Other than that all four tires are brand new. Brand new clutch and runs just fine with new battery. A little over 200,000 miles on it. How much should I ask for it? I'm new to the whole haggling business with vehicles haha

$1000 is the most I'd pay for something like that.
I work at a car dealership appraising cars all the time.

There's a bit of rust on the frame, I think I'm gonna ask for $500 or $600 due to the work that needs to be put into it.

I would start out at $800 and work your way down to a price you both can agree on!
