As the person said above work on you're aiming.I'm no counter-strike veteran but most players can 1 shot kill like it's nothing.

I'd suggest you play with bots until you get a feel for the game. Learn which guns are good/bad.. etc etc.
Just practice a bit before playing competitive matches. It irritates me when people that have never even played CS:GO play competitive and just charge out and die.

There's an 'aim train' map on the steam workshop, I'd strongly recommend that for improving your aim

Learn most the paths in all maps weather you are terroist or counter. Dust II is literally the most common map so, get used to that one as well!! Goodluck with ranking

Also, aim for the head always. If you hit them in the head even with 1 bullet, you will usually kill them. Also, shoot in bursts if your enemy is far away from you, if they are close, you can spray but make sure to aim at their feet or below them, so that the recoil makes the bullets hit them

Use the AK or M4 when your on either team.
Pull out knife when sprinting.
Practise aim in Deathmatch/Bots.
+Longer you play the better you become ofcourse!

Tips to make you a better CS:GO player:
Those are some of the best tips that I have gotten from people who are much better at CS:GO than I am.
- Use bots to get a feel for the game.
- Make sure that your crosshair works well for you.
- Learn the maps and the callouts for said maps.
- Learn recoil patterns for your weapons.
- Use the knife sprinting to your advantage.
- Play smart, not stupid.
- Worth together with your team.
- And last but not least, always aim for the head.
Those are some of the best tips that I have gotten from people who are much better at CS:GO than I am.
