Its a scam.

He will send you a fake confirmation of Paypal holding the money until he see's a tracking number.

The item will be for a relative in Africa.

I was going to post, but the people above me have already stated what I was going to post. Don't let him have it for less, if he doesn't pay create a case against him.

Take the 8 its more than you would've had and he's not 1.1k worse off;) its morally right to accept 8 hunnit;)

Classic ebay scam. Do not go through with this, you will lose the items and money. If he really wants the item make him pay through ebay, although I can almost guarantee he won't.

I never went through with it guys! He was a scammer and I reported him and have opened a case (well in 2 days)

I have stuck it on gumtree. I don't like eBay anymore it's full of scammers.
