I preordered the digital version of Destiny from gamestop online and they just sent me the code, but when i go to redeem it, it says $60 xbox credit instead of the destiny download. Is this normal or did they send me the wrong code? I know I can just buy it on the xbox store for $59.99 anyways.

This is how they do it, you use the money to buy the game.

They don't give specific game codes anymore.

They send the bonus code in a different email anywhere from 0-48Hours after receiving the first code.
