Well first of all, what is your vehicle and what is your budget for this project?

Well I don't know off the top of my head, but figure out what size all of your speakers are. And I would get two 12" subs in a big box then.

Figure all this out and go to crutchfield.com and look in the car audio. If would suggest spending around $100-$120 on each pair of speakers for a decent sound. Then a nice 4-channel amp to push all of them. I recommend alpine 4channel amps. Thats what I have. Probably won't need more than a 600 watt for that.

As for the subs, you can spend a hefty amount of money on them. I use Rockford Fosgate P2 Punch subs and they hit hard. I would spend probably around $250 a sub if you want a good bump, and a sufficient amp that will go with them. (Get the same brand amp, as subs since they are designed for the subs you will have a better chance of not blowing your subs or overheating the amp)

As for the sub box, building your own will save you lots of money if you are good at doing stuff like that, if not just get one off the site that will house two 12 inchers.

Any other questions feel free to ask.

No problem! I know my fair share about car audio. Given that it's completely up to the buyer and how much you wanna spend, I can always help out to those are new to it!

Just be careful, if you buy higher wattage amps than your speakers can handle.

I have a pioneer unit that I had in my 2000 Jeep GC. Very ironic lol, I can sell it to you if you still have the stock head unit. I left the conversion kit on it so it would just be a plug and play. Message me if your interested.
