I have the z97m-d3h gigabyte mobo and the intel pentium g3258? The anniversary one.

I'm just wondering if anyone knows how I would be able to overlock it from 3.2 to 4.2?

You handle the core clocks and the core voltage like each of a womans breasts. You gently caress each until you reach thermal, voltage or board limits.

Its different for each motherboard and chip. So you can start by turning off the turbo boost and locking the clock to the turbo frequency as all chips are rated to run at that some of the time. Then you can use the VCore setting to see what the lowest volts it'll take at that speed is, then you can see how much speed you can get for those volts and keep going like that.
